The Letdown
There was a time in my life when I enjoyed looking up at the night sky and pondering over the association of the celestial landscape. It was my greatest source of energy renewal. Over the years, I had forgotten about this simple act that provided composure.
Here’s another poser scribed in the year 2003:
The Letdown
And there are always voids.
Sometimes the clouds appear dense,
but a slight shift may reveal the glitters.
It may expose a wider entrance to heaven.The discreet are the frail ones,
shattered beneath their layers
even when a halo shines through;
The rest are such misty they
drift to fabricate the dominant
source of light in the night.The mysteries of the skies
let in confusion,
and here I am, doubting
a child who used to dream.
Platforms to show all who are watching,
to show a similarity.And they clear.
Back into their hide-outs,
hibernation proves detrimental.
I put this poser on the web years ago and someone told me she could relate to it. To be inquisitive, can you?
